We like to experiment

Our team will design a bespoke course in computational design thinking for various design fields to fit your teams’ requirements. Our main fields are Architecture, Structural Engineering, Material, and Industrial Design. We are always looking for opportunities to dive into new design territories, so feel free to contact us, be it Fashion, Furniture or Virtual Space.

You need it,        we teach it

Some topics that we can ( and have) covered include but are not limited to the following:

  • Parametric Design
  • Generative Design*
  • Algorithmic Design
  • Design Space exploration and prototyping
  • Optimization Strategies
  • Data driven Design
  • Interactive Design
  • Computational Design Thinking
  • AI+Architecture
  • AI+Product Design
  • Digital manufacturing workflows, (inc Robotic)
  • Geometric Wizardry

Linked with academia

Our team has experience in teaching Industrial designers, Master students in Architecture and Urban design studies at Aalto University. We believe in research-based design solutions and find a strong collaboration with academic circles to be fruitful grounds for exploration and knowledge growth.

Some of our courses

Grasshopper Introduction Course

What is this? So many Wires? Trees?
For architects, our tools can include advanced energy analysis, lighting simulation, and building information modelling (BIM) integration, giving you the ability to create detailed and accurate models that meet industry standards and regulations.

For industrial engineering, our tools can include advanced simulation and analysis for manufacturing processes and machinery design, allowing you to optimize your designs for maximum efficiency and performance.

Grasshopper Intermediate Course

More Trees? Tree Manipulation? Optimization? Other Plugins

Grasshopper Advanced Course

What else can I do? Coding, Rhino Common

computational design thinking

We believe that a fundamental paradigm shift in the way how thinking about design problems is essential to employ computation to augment the design process. We will get familiar with employing coding, algorithmic design, and visual coding to leverage the tools and technologies available to us.
Design workflows, feature scripts, mass prototyping, design feedback reporting, shop drawings, analysis dashboards; there is latent value that is discarded when design effort only yields a solution. Now more than ever this latent value when leveraged can completely tilt the table on productivity, design exploration, design feedback.
